2.  Cap Device (three layered - base as 1st layer, 2nd layer is the shield with silver finish, and 3rd layer is Lapu-lapu on eight-rayed sun) - NAPOLCOM approved Cap Device per Memorandum Circular No.93006 (Gold plated except for shield which has a silver finish).
3.  Base - red rim all around.
4. Cap front braid - Gold
5.  Visor - Black leather.
6. Back Band  - Black leather with buckle

Police Major and Police Lieutenant Colonel -  With golden laurel leaves meeting at the center of the  visor’s beak.
